“El Pozo” - Space for Memory, Rosario

Formerly the Santa Fe Police Information Services, this building, referred to as "El Pozo" (The Pitt) had approximately 2000 people pass through it.

El Pozo remained in the hands of the provincial police until 2004 when it became a museum and memorial site. Structural issues and flooding have made the site difficult to preserve, with some contending that the provincial government's waning interest was partially responsible for much of the damage to the site, including the painting over of prisoner inscriptions.
