About Me

I am currently a 4th year Undergraduate student at the University of Toronto where I am about to graduate with an Honours Bachelor of Arts, studying Latin American Studies, Human Geography, and Diaspora & Transnational Studies.

I have also studied at Universidad Torcuato di Tella in Buenos Aires, Argentina where I received a Certificate in Human Rights and a Certificate in Latin American Studies. The photos and site visits from this project took place during that time from June 2024 to August 2025.

My maternal grandparents lived in Argentina and my mother was born there. They were some of the many who left the country in 1976, though I do not know if the reasoning has anything to do with the dictatorship. Nonetheless, this family history may help to explain my academic interest in this area.

My research interests also include memory and museum studies; Latin American public policy, politics, and history; migration & diasporas; urban geography; LGBT communities, and their many intersections.
